Welcome to Watercolor by Ruth. By using watercolorbyruth.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Our Products

Every card, bookmark and painting is hand-painted in watercolor by Ruth. Because each piece is handmade, small variations in color, texture and detail are part of its charm and are not considered defects. We do our best to show colors accurately, but they may look slightly different depending on your screen.

• Cards include a paper envelope and are protected in a clear plastic sleeve.
• Bookmarks are finished with a simple lamination.
• Paintings are original, one-of-a-kind pieces sold unframed unless you choose the “Framed” option.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed securely through PayPal, which also offers Venmo, debit/credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price you pay is the one shown when you place your order.

Orders

After you place an order you will receive a confirmation email. We may cancel an order and issue a full refund if an item is out of stock (for example, if an original painting has already sold) or if there is an error in price or description.

Custom Orders

Personalized or custom pieces (for example, a card with a specific name or a commissioned painting) are created especially for you. Details, price and timing will be agreed by email before we begin. Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, photographs and text on this website are the original work of Ruth / Watercolor by Ruth and are protected by copyright. Buying an original painting, card or bookmark gives you ownership of that physical piece only; it does not give you the right to copy, print, reproduce or sell the artwork or its image, or to use it commercially, without our written permission.

Use of This Website

Please don’t misuse our website, attempt to interfere with how it works, or copy its content. We may update, change or temporarily suspend the website at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Watercolor by Ruth is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our products. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, which applies to orders placed after that date.
