Watercolor by Ruth (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit watercolorbyruth.com, buy our hand-painted cards, bookmarks and paintings, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.

Order information: when you make a purchase we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), billing address and shipping address so we can process and deliver your order.
Payment information: payments are processed securely by PayPal (including Venmo, debit/credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay offered through PayPal). We never see or store your full card number or bank details.
Messages: when you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running. We also use cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.

To process, ship and follow up on your orders, including sending order confirmations and shipping updates.

How Long We Keep It

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfill your order and for our tax and accounting records (generally up to 7 years). Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and handle any follow-up.

How We Protect It

Our website uses a secure (HTTPS/SSL) connection, payments are handled entirely by PayPal, and access to order information is limited to the shop owner.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails.
